Family violence has been a norm for many women over generations. However in more recent times we as women have begun to gain our voices back and stand up for ourselves.

Family violence is not just physical violence! It covers a whole range of acts. This FREE seminar is to inform you on the following:

1. What is family violence?
2. What support networks there are available.
3. What is a Family Violence Intervention Order, and when you could obtain one.
4. How to make an application for a Family Violence Intervention Order, and a general discussion on the Court process.
5. What happens if I'm served with a Family Violence Intervention Order? There are unfortunate situations where the victim has been served with an application made by the perpetrator.
